Camp-Ins at the South Carolina State Museum

It’s time to sign up for an overnight extravaganza at the S.C. State Museum just for Brownies, Juniors, Tiger, Bear, Wolf and Webelos.
Stir up some fun during the Crazy Chemistry Overnight Camp-In at the South Carolina State Museum. Learn about acids and bases, mixtures and solutions, and states of matter. Discover what happens when chemicals react with each other – you’ll be amazed at what you can create!! Stretch your imagination to the limits and beyond at the State Museum!

FEES
|
$25 per scout and $20 per adult
|
| PROGRAM SCHEDULE |
Friday evening: Check-in is from 6:30 - 7:10 p.m. Campers will receive additional information including camp site assignments at check-in. Campers may explore the museum galleries until activities begin at 7:10 p.m.
Saturday morning: Check-out is from 7:30 - 9:00 a.m. Campers will have free time after morning snacks to explore galleries. Campers may remain in the museum until 9:00 a.m.

| WHAT TO BRING |
Sleeping bag or bedroll, pillow and basic toiletries. All chaperones are asked to wear a watch and bring a flashlight. Campers will be assigned designated sleeping areas in the gallery exhibit spaces. |
| FOOD |
Snacks will be provided Friday evening and Saturday morning. |
| MUSEUM ACTIVITIES |
Friday night activities will be led by museum staff. All campers receive a special camp-in patch as a souvenir and guest passes. |
| MUSEUM STORE |
Shopping in the museum store, the Cotton Mill Exchange will be available during your visit (optional). |
