School Groups

All programs have been developed to meet the S.C. State Department of Education’s curriculum standards. *There is no program charge for South Carolina students. Please select the programs appropriate for your home school curriculum.

Individual families or groups may sign-up for programs. A minimum of 10 students required for each program.

*Special programs require a $3 charge per person.

Things To Know Before Arrival

Reservations

Self-Guided Tours
 Available 1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Fridays 9:00a.m.- 4:30p.m.
Instructor Led Programs
 Tuesday through Friday — 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m.,12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. (Four-week notice requested) 
Cost
SC School Groups and bus drivers (public, private and home schools): Free with reservations.
Chaperones
One chaperone for every five students recommended. Additional chaperones $4 each. Teachers are counted as chaperones.
Arrival Time
Plan to arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled program. 
 Programs  10+ students are required to reserve a program.
 Reservations  Four-week notice is recommended.
 Identification  Nametags are required.
Pre-order educational student bags from our museum shop. A limited number of students will be admitted to the museum store at a time. They must have a chaperone.
Lunch
Box Lunches and on site space for lunch are available.
