The State Museum has a variety of events and activities planned all year to celebrate our 20th Anniversary
Exhibits
April 25 - September 27, 2008
This first ever juried art show represents work of every medium from artists all around the state.
June 27, 2008 - January 4, 2009
This exhibit highlights objects the Museum has collected over the past two decades, including more than 100 artifacts from all 46 counties.
Events
August 16, 2008
The Museum will open for a 20-hour marathon day of free programs and fun for the public, from 9 am to 5 am the following morning. Music, birthday cake, games, demonstrations, movies, stargazing and much, much more will highlight the pre-back-to-school extravaganza.
• Black Tie Gala
October 30, 2008
The gala will be a formal celebration of the Museum's birthday as well as a fundraising event.
• Plus 20th-anniversary editions of the Museum’s signature events from April to December.
