College Art Day

February 28
SC State Museum
Aspiring artists from high schools, as well as their teachers and parents, are invited to explore South Carolina colleges and university art departments during College Art Day at the State Museum. This event will encourage budding young minds to explore art education which prepares students to think creatively, collaboratively and critically, preparing them for the real-world job market.
Come see first hand what colleges have to offer while interacting with current art students from these schools. Other events throughout the day will include:
  • Interactive video conference with college alumni working as successful artists, designers, educators and arts administrators.
