South Carolina educators, you are invited to expand your horizons with opportunities for professional development at the State Museum.
The South Carolina State Museum is pleased to offer a variety of professional development opportunities for South Carolina educators.
Available only for registered South Carolina school teachers, this experience includes general admission, admission into the 4D theater and planetarium show. Admission to the blockbuster exhibit is an additional charge. You and your fellow teachers will have the opportunity to explore the museum while scheduling viewings of our popular paid attractions!
Planetarium and 4D shows need to be scheduled with the museum’s Group Visits Dept. at least 2 weeks prior to your group’s visit. Groups are welcome Monday-Friday starting at 10 a.m., daily. This special opportunity is only available to registered South Carolina school teachers with a valid school ID. Posted and regular museum admission rates apply when visiting without an education group.
Please note: there is minimum of 5 educators / maximum of 125 educators to schedule this professional development experience.
